Rooms.

Last updated 2026-05-20

TL;DR
  • Rooms are built from modules grouped into categories that become the buyer's left-nav.
  • The editor is a live preview: what you see is exactly what the buyer sees.
  • A room goes live when you set its status to active. Drafts are never visible to buyers.

The rooms list

The rooms list shows every room you can access, grouped by the deal stage pulled from Attio so your pipeline structure carries through. Each row carries the columns you scan for:

Column
What it shows
Room
The room title.
Deal
The linked Attio deal, where the room is deal-linked.
Status
Draft, active, or archived.
Gating
How buyers gain access: none, email, or domain.
Updated
When the room last changed.

The room editor

Opening a room drops you into a live-preview editor that mirrors exactly what the buyer sees. A control strip across the top puts every room-level action in one place:

  • Inline rename — click the room title to edit it in place.
  • Status toggle — switch between draft, active, and archived.
  • Expiry chip — set or clear an expiry date for the room.
  • Tabs — Stakeholders, Intelligence, Analytics, and Access. Stakeholders and Intelligence appear only on Attio-linked rooms.
  • Manage structure — enter structure mode to reorganize categories and modules.
  • Add section — add a new module to the room.
  • AI draft — run the AI draft flow to build or extend the room.
  • Preview — open the buyer view of the room.

Modules

Rooms are built from modules. The available module types are:

  • Narrative — a written section.
  • Goals — the buyer's goals or objectives.
  • Challenges — pain, solution, and outcome.
  • Integrations — relevant integrations.
  • Embed — an embedded external resource.
  • Link list — a list of labeled links.
  • Team — the people involved.
  • Proof — proof points and case results.
  • Stakeholder list — the named stakeholders on the deal.
  • Divider — a visual break.
  • Plan — the mutual action plan.

Embeds support a wide range of providers, including Loom, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, Figma, Typeform, and Calendly. Paste a URL and the editor auto-detects the provider and renders a live preview inline, so you can confirm the embed before publishing.

Categories and structure mode

Modules are grouped into named categories. Those categories become the buyer's left-nav in the published room, so the structure you build is the structure buyers navigate. Structure mode gives you full control:

  • Drag and drop to reorder modules and categories.
  • Rename a category or module.
  • Clone a module.
  • Move a module between categories.
  • Add or delete categories and modules.

Publishing

A room is published by setting its status to active. Until then it is a draft, and drafts are never visible to buyers — only you can preview them. Two optional controls shape how a published room behaves:

  • Expiry date — hides the room from buyers after a deadline.
  • Slack notification — posts a notification when the room goes live, if Slack notifications are configured for your workspace.

Email gating

Each room controls how buyers gain access:

  • None — the room opens immediately for anyone with the link.
  • Email — buyers enter an email and receive a magic link to verify before the room opens.
  • Domain — access is restricted to buyers whose email is on an allowed domain.
