What's the difference between auto-creates and manual rooms?

A manual room is one you create explicitly by clicking "New Room." Auto-creates happen automatically when an Attio Deal is created — foyai spins up a room for that deal without action on your part. Pro includes 30 auto-creates per seat per month; manual rooms are unlimited on Pro and Platform.

When does Pro vs Platform make sense for my team?

Pro fits AE-led motions: each seller has their own buyer rooms for deals they're working. Platform fits multi-motion teams running prospecting, CSM, marketing follow-up, or anywhere you need bulk creation, outbound webhooks, or your own Anthropic API key.

What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?

Your data is preserved. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period, and rooms beyond the new tier's limits become read-only but remain accessible to you and your buyers. Re-subscribing at any time restores full access.

How does the 30-day ghost room grace work?

On Platform, we count "active rooms" — rooms with buyer engagement or AI activity in the billing period — for overage billing. A room you create that gets no engagement within 30 days of creation never bills. This lets you run prospecting at scale: cold outreach that doesn't get traction costs you nothing.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes. Switching to annual takes effect immediately, with your remaining monthly time credited toward the annual upfront. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at the end of your current annual term — annual time isn't refunded mid-term.

Do you offer founding customer pricing?

Yes, for the first 50 Pro and first 10 Platform customers globally. Pro Founding is $20/seat/month (billed annually); Platform Founding is $300/month base (billed annually). The discount is locked for 12 months, then reverts to standard pricing on renewal.

Can I get a refund?

For your organization's first 30 paid days, yes — request a full refund through support@foyai.com. After day 30 we don't offer refunds, but you can cancel at any time and your access continues through your paid term. Annual subscriptions are not refundable mid-term.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards through Stripe, in USD. ACH and other payment methods may be added later for Platform customers based on demand.

Do you collect sales tax or VAT?

Yes, where applicable. We collect US sales tax based on your billing address; EU and UK VAT will be collected when we launch in those regions. Tax is added at checkout automatically.

What happens if my payment fails?

We retry the payment over 14 days. Your service stays active during that window and you'll receive emails about the failed charge. If we still can't collect, your workspace moves to read-only mode — existing rooms stay accessible to buyers, but no new creates or AI operations. Update your card in the billing portal any time to restore service.

Is there a free trial?

Not currently. The Free tier (2 buyer rooms, 3 AI drafts, all real-time features) lets you see how foyai works before subscribing.

How is "active room" defined for Platform billing?

An active room had any buyer engagement (room view, section view, click) OR AI activity (auto-creation, regen, intelligence synthesis) during the billing period. Rooms with zero activity in the period don't bill.

Can I pause my subscription?

Not currently. If you need a break, cancel — your data stays intact and you can re-subscribe whenever to pick up where you left off.

Where do I see my invoices?

In the Stripe Customer Portal — Settings → Plan → Manage Billing. We also email each invoice to your billing email when the charge succeeds.

How do I contact billing support?

Email support@foyai.com. Include your workspace name in the subject line for fastest routing.

Do you offer custom pricing for large teams?

Platform scales linearly — base fee plus per-room overage covers most large-team use cases. If your scenario doesn't fit cleanly, email support@foyai.com and we'll work it out.
