Turn the discovery call into a follow-up room with a dated plan.

For a typical B2B sale, foyai drafts a private buyer room from your discovery call: a recap of the call, "What we heard" and "Value map" sections in the buyer's own terms, up to four case studies picked for this deal, and a Standard sales plan with dates. You review it, publish it, and see who opens it. When the room asks for an email, that includes the people it gets forwarded to.

Updated

On the Northwind discovery call, Dana Whitfield says she wants month-end close under five days, and Raj Patel says nothing touches NetSuite without SSO. foyai drafts a room that quotes both in What we heard, with a dated action plan from the demo on Sep 24 to signature on Nov 3. The seller reviews and publishes it, and Dana and then Elena Ruiz open the room.
One deal, week by week

How the room fits into a new deal from the first call to signature.

Say you're selling to a 40-person operations team at Northwind Logistics. Here's where the room shows up, day by day.

Tuesday · the call ends
The recording is linked to the deal
  • Your discovery call was recorded in Attio, or by Fathom, Fireflies.ai, Avoma, tl;dv, Grain or Granola. foyai links it to the Northwind deal because the buyer's email domain matches the company in Attio.
  • If you've switched on rooms from new call recordings, or the deal just moved into a stage you've mapped, foyai starts a draft automatically. If not, it's one action on the deal in Attio: Create Foyai Room.
Tuesday · after the call
A draft is waiting for review
  • Meeting notes with a summary and the full transcript, so nobody has to remember who said what.
  • What we heard: their goals and problems, as they described them. Value map: how what you sell answers each one.
  • Case studies: up to four from your library, each with a one-line reason it fits Northwind.
  • Next steps from the call, suggested as plan tasks for you to approve or drop.
Tuesday · afternoon
You edit, publish and send one link
  • Fix what the AI got wrong and cut what you don't need. Add the Standard sales plan (discovery, trial, agreement, onboarding), enter the go-live date they mentioned, and every step is dated back from it.
  • Publish. Your buyer gets a private link with no account or password. Set it to ask for a work email, and each visitor shows up by name.
Wednesday
It gets forwarded
  • Your champion opens it and you get a Slack message. That afternoon two new names appear in the room's visitor list: their head of finance and an IT lead you've never spoken to.
  • Both can be added to Attio as People on Northwind, with a note on the deal for each visit.
The following Thursday · second call
You review updates from the second call
  • foyai compares the new call with the room and suggests updates: a requirement the IT lead raised, a trial start date that moved. You approve them and publish changes. The buyer sees the last version you published, not your edits in progress.
Week four
Order form, then signature
  • Pin your order form to the room's Agreement button. Their legal lead ticks off the terms review step in the room, and the deal in Attio shows the plan's completion climbing toward 100%.
The recap

A follow-up your champion can forward without rewriting.

"What we heard" sets out their goals and their numbers from the transcript, written for someone who wasn't on the call. "Value map" puts your answer next to each problem.

foyai suggests up to four case studies from your library and says why each one fits, so the head of finance can open the one closest to their situation. You choose which ones stay.

The drafted room, buyer view
Who opens it

See who opens the room and who it was forwarded to.

Ask for an email before entry and each visitor appears by name, with what they viewed, how long they stayed, and which slides they spent time on. New names in that list are people the room was forwarded to, often stakeholders you hadn't met yet.

Back in Attio, the deal carries an engagement score, the last buyer view, and the plan's completion. When a deal says "commit" and nobody has opened the room in two weeks, you'll see it.

Step 3 of 6 A new name Elena Ruiz, Northwind's controller, opened the room for the first time an hour ago, from a link Dana forwarded.

  4. Section engagement and slide engagement charts for the Northwind room

Step 4 of 6 Time on each slide Section views and time per slide, across everyone who opened the room, show what held their attention.

  5. The Northwind Logistics deal in Attio showing Foyai engagement score 72

Step 5 of 6 Back in Attio foyai writes an engagement score, the last buyer view, and plan completion to the Northwind deal.

  6. A Foyai room activity note on the Attio deal listing what Elena viewed

Step 6 of 6 Each visit becomes a note When someone opens the room, foyai adds a note to the deal with what they viewed and downloaded.

Questions

Questions about new business deals

Not ready for software? The free mutual action plan template has the same phases as a spreadsheet you can copy today.

What should a new business sales room include?
Four things: a recap of what the buyer told you, how your product answers their specific problems, proof from customers like them, and a dated plan to a decision with steps on both sides. foyai drafts all four from your discovery call, and you decide what stays.
How soon after the call is the room ready?
A draft can start as soon as the recording reaches the deal. Attio's own recordings need no extra setup; connected recorders hand the call over once it's processed (Granola syncs about once an hour). Set rooms to be created when a new call arrives, or create one yourself from the call or the deal whenever you're ready. The room reaches your buyer only after you review and publish it.
Does the AI send anything to my buyer?
No. Rooms are drafts until you publish them, including rooms created automatically when a deal changes stage. Suggested updates from later calls also wait for your approval.
Can I see who my buyer forwarded the room to?
You see who opened it. When the room asks for an email, each new visitor appears by name and email with their activity, so a forward shows up as a new person in the visitor list. With an open link, visitors are tracked but anonymous.
What if a deal has no call recording?
Upload the transcript by hand, or start a blank room and build it yourself. The plan, content and analytics work the same either way.
