AI drafts
Foyai's wedge is simple: your calls already contain the deal. AI drafting reads the transcripts and turns them into room content: the buyer's goals, their challenges, the next steps both sides agreed to, and the right supporting material.

Generating a draft
Two ways in:
- In the app: open a room and choose Fill room from call recordings. A picker lists the recorded calls on the linked record (all selected by default, up to 30 per draft); uncheck any you don't want, then Analyze N calls. Progress streams live while Foyai fetches transcripts and populates the room.
- From Attio: the Generate Foyai Draft from Calls action on a Deal or Company. No picker; the 5 most recent completed calls are used automatically. Rooms created with the Attio app's Create Foyai Room action get this draft on creation, so there's nothing extra to click.
If your workspace has transcript sources connected, those calls appear in the picker alongside Attio recordings, with a provider tag and a duplicate hint when the same meeting was recorded twice.
Recorded the call somewhere else, like Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams? Click Upload a transcript in the picker to paste the transcript or add its .txt or .vtt file. It attaches to the room's company and deal, shows with an Uploaded tag, and is selected for the draft. Uploaded transcripts also feed the Attio action, since they're attached to the record. See Uploading a transcript for the format and for uploading before a room exists.
Free plan: AI drafts are capped; drafts generated during the Pro trial don't count against the cap, and the draft flow shows the current limit when you reach it. See Plans and billing.
What the AI writes
From the transcripts (plus your Company context), Foyai extracts and builds:
- Goals: three, written from the buyer's perspective
- Challenges: each as pain → solution → outcome
- Stack and integrations: tools mentioned in the buyer's environment
- Action items: commitments it heard, with owner and due date
- Stakeholders: people on the calls, added to the room's stakeholder list
- For an empty room, a full structure: navigation sections from "The Initiative" through "Action Plan", plus suggested content from your library
Two rules the AI always follows: it writes to the buyer in active voice (no "they told us"), and it never invents metrics, names, or commitments that weren't in the calls.
You review before buyers see anything
AI output is a draft, checked at three points:
- Action items extracted from calls arrive as pending review. The "Review action items" prompt after drafting lets you approve or dismiss each one; only approved items sync to Attio.
- Suggestions appear on the room's Intelligence page ("AI suggestions"), each with Accept and Dismiss: add a section, update a section, add a stakeholder, or update the buying committee. New calls landing on the deal generate fresh suggestions.
- Publishing shows a "Review AI generated content" step the first time, and hard-pauses publish while any AI section is still generating.
The Intelligence page also infers a buying committee (champion, decision maker, economic buyer, and so on) with a confidence label. Treat it as a hypothesis to check against what you know, not a fact.
Meeting notes
Add a Meeting Notes block for any single call and Foyai writes a short summary: the call's outcome up front, then what was covered, decisions, and open questions. Buyers can flip between the summary and the full transcript. Action items deliberately don't appear here; they live on the Action Plan. Uploaded transcripts work here too, with speaker names kept, so the transcript tab reads as a conversation.
Recommended case studies
The Recommended Case Studies block picks the most relevant case studies from your Content Library for this deal, matching on industry, similar challenges, and shared tools, with a one-line reason per pick (up to 4). If nothing matches well, it shows your newest case studies instead, so the section is never blank.
Company context
Settings → Company context is one text box: what your company does and who you sell to. It feeds every draft as background, which sharpens how the AI frames your value against the buyer's challenges. Two or three sentences are enough; write it once and every future draft benefits.
Troubleshooting
The draft missed something important from a call. Check the call was selected in the picker and its transcript was ready. You can re-run drafting with different calls selected.
An AI section is stuck generating. Publishing pauses until it finishes. If it's genuinely stuck, remove the section or regenerate it from the block's menu.
A section failed to generate. You can still publish, but the section would be empty for buyers; the publish flow warns you. Regenerate it or remove it from the block's menu. Deal Content sections have a third fix: open the section and write the content yourself. The editor opens blank and ready to type, and saving your own words clears the failure warning.
